New Buses for Airport Tolmachevo

Platform buses used for ground transportation in airports arrived in Novosibirsk today. The buses were purchased by the Novosibirsk Leasing Company. From now on, flight passengers arriving to the Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo International Airport will be transported from planes to the airport building in more comfortable conditions.

Meeting with the Author of the Russian Law on Leasing

On April 16, a meeting with the deputy of the Russian Duma, author of the Rusian Law on leasing, mr. Aksakov, was held at the Russian-American Business Council. Director of the Novosibirsk Leasing Company, Mr. Oleg Kiselev, made initiatives to improve the law. The improvements are aimed to furthere facilitate development of small business. Mr. Aksakov supported the initiatives, and asked to send an official letter to him.

The meeting was organized by BISNIS program (US Department of Commerce), and the North-West Leasing Association (St.-Petersburg, Russia).

A new system for heating of industrial building was put into operation. The system is based on equipment produced by Kubler company (Germany). Transmission of heat energy is carried out by means of infra-red radiation, without wasting energy on heating of surrounding air. All equipment was leased.

The Novosibisk Leasing Company met with Mr. Colin Cleary, Deputy Minister Councelor for Political Affairs of the US Embassy in Moscow. The meeting was organized by the Novosibirsk affiliate of the "Business Russia" party. A wide range of issues related to development of business collaboration between Russian and US enterprises, and piculiarities of doing business in Siberia were discussed. Heads of enterprises raised the issue of opening a US consulate in Novosibirsk.
